The political spectrum is a myth
I never did understand all the political terms...
Left, Right, Socialist, Conservative, Liberal, etc., these were all terms that others seemed to have deep knowledge and recognition that I never quite understood. These were terms that were once explained to me, as a cheap way to label you as different, close minded or belonging to a particular camp spat out in verbal conflict simply to win the conversation, and excuse a logical outcome of the topic being discussed. Kind of like how “God works in mysterious ways” to excuse his homophobia?
Dismissing the truth or logic, doesn’t make it so.
So Labor and Liberal are supposed to be different sides of politics. Labor has a better track record of Australian finances than Liberals, yet where told Liberals are better with money. Well they are but not in the way the myth suggests. Liberals are better at hawding money off to the super wealthy, just not to the Aussie battler.
Labor supposed to be the heart-land of the blue collar worker, well not anymore. They are now the lap dogs of the super wealthy.

The vast majority of us barrack for a political team, and ignore the tuth and logic thrown against them, in order for us to remain tribal and true to our team, like it means the world to us.
So where does that leave the Teals and the Greens, and Clive Palmers and the other weirdos??? Well there because we have a preferential voting system in Australia, we end up voting in the moderate political views anyways. So regardless of whether a crazy bill gets in, it must go through this firewall of moderacy, which trims the crazy shit out.
The threat to our democracy starts with hiding information, specifically political donations. There is a reason we call it ‘Public Service’ - they have no rights to hold anything they do from us. The Greens Party is the only one that doesn’t allow corporate donations. So the fact they exist at all is due to people power, not corporation power.
